SU ARNASY – Water Expo Astana

SU ARNASY – Water Expo is an annual international trade fair for water supply, wastewater management, water treatment and modern water infrastructure in Kazakhstan. The Kazakh term “Su Arnasy” roughly translates as “water channel” or “water supply system”, while the English addition “Water Expo” highlights the event’s international focus. The exhibition takes place at the IEC EXPO International Exhibition Center in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. It is organised by Astana Expo, a Kazakh exhibition organiser with more than 20 years of experience in staging international trade fairs and conferences and a member of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI). The event provides a platform for companies, industry professionals and decision-makers from Kazakhstan and Central Asia to exchange expertise, establish business contacts and showcase new technologies.

SU ARNASY – Water Expo focuses on innovative technologies and practical solutions for efficient and sustainable water management. The exhibition covers a broad range of products and systems, from drinking water supply and municipal and industrial wastewater treatment to sewage and sludge treatment technologies and solutions for upgrading water distribution and sewerage networks. Exhibits include pumps, pipes, fittings, valves, filtration and membrane technologies, water treatment chemicals, filter media and sanitary equipment. Other key areas include digital measurement and monitoring systems, smart water meters, automation and control technologies, as well as solutions for protecting water bodies and ensuring the sustainable use of water resources. The exhibition also features engineering, planning and consultancy services for municipal and industrial water infrastructure projects.

Exhibitors primarily represent the water and wastewater industries, plant and machinery manufacturing, pump and pipeline technology, environmental engineering, the chemical industry, automation, instrumentation and infrastructure planning. The event is aimed mainly at trade visitors from municipal water and wastewater utilities, public utility companies, industrial enterprises, engineering and planning consultancies, and construction and infrastructure companies. It also attracts representatives of government authorities, public institutions and potential investors.

SU ARNASY – Water Expo is particularly significant for Kazakhstan, where upgrading municipal water infrastructure, ensuring a reliable water supply and managing limited water resources sustainably are among the country's major challenges. The trade fair facilitates international technology and knowledge transfer, offering overseas companies opportunities to establish business contacts and explore market prospects in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. The exhibition is complemented by a programme of specialist presentations, conferences and industry discussions, encouraging dialogue between businesses, trade associations and public institutions.

The IEC EXPO International Exhibition Center is located at 53/1 Mangilik El Avenue in Astana's modern EXPO district. The exhibition venue is accessible by taxi or public transport from both Astana International Airport and the city centre.
