Orto Medical Care Madrid

Orto Medical Care is an international trade fair for orthopaedic technology, prosthetics, rehabilitation, mobility aids and assistive technologies in Spain. Held every three years at the IFEMA Madrid exhibition centre, it is an important industry platform for innovative patient care solutions, professional knowledge exchange and international business networking. The event is organised by the Federación Española de Ortesistas y Protesistas (FEDOP), the Spanish association of orthotists and prosthetists, which promotes advances in orthopaedic technology and high standards of patient care.

Orto Medical Care focuses on the latest developments in orthopaedic technology, advanced prosthetic and orthotic systems, digital manufacturing processes and technologies designed to improve quality of life and independence for people with disabilities, older people and patients requiring rehabilitation. Exhibits include custom-fitted upper- and lower-limb prostheses, bionic and myoelectric systems, orthopaedic aids, wheelchairs, walking aids and rehabilitation equipment. Visitors can reach the venue via Metro Line 8 to Feria de Madrid station, several bus routes or the M-40 and M-11 motorways.
